We now have normal hours and are welcoming our established retinal patients back and are happy to see new patients with any vitreous or retinal conditions of any severity. Self-referrals are welcome. In addition to his busy private practice, Dr. Ilyas also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology for George Washington University where he educates young ophthalmology physicians on all aspects of retinal disease and the latest medical and surgical treatments for these diseases.

Dr. Waqas Ilyas is a board-certified ophthalmologist with a subspecialty focus in retinal and vitreous diseases and retinal surgery. Dr Waqas (Vic) Ilyas and his staff are dedicated to providing compassionate, timely, and complete care of your retinal problem. We perform a thorough retinal and ocular exam, utilize detailed and state-of-the-art retinal imaging techniques, and can perform delicate interventions to help your disease, including: surgery, ocular injections, and laser treatments. All of this is done with the goal of keeping you educated about your disease and empowering you with knowledge of what treatments may be available for you.
