Most of all, if you have an eye urgency, he will fit you into his schedule immediately. Any eye issues that I may have in the future, Dr. Wagas Ilyas will be the first doctor I seek.

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Dr. Ilyas is such a personable doctor and spends the time to explain your prognosis and action steps that most doctors do not. I was super scared when I was referred to a retinal specialist over 10 years ago, but he put me at ease immediately. Since then he has performed several laser treatments for me to correct retinal holes, and I truly believe he has saved me from a major retinal surgery with his diligence. If you are having an eye emergency or even symptoms that you are unsure of, his staff will get you an appointment to be seen by him immediately. I have been his patient for over a decade and have only had positive experiences with him and his staff. Your eyes are so precious, make sure you trust them with a true professional that is dedicated to your well being….that professional is Dr. Ilyas!
They did a great job. My PCP said I needed to get in to see due to my eye blowing up on me. It was a Thursday afternoon when I was told this. They got me in Friday morning and did a very thorough job. Dr. Ilys was very personable and knew his stuff. 1 week later, the symptoms have all resolved and I am happy as can be. Thank you!
Dr. Waqas Ilyas is one of the most professional and friendly eye doctors I have ever come across. And the way he describes your prognosis/scenario allows you to truly understand what’s happening. This place has created for me the most comforting doctor-patient relationship I have ever had.
